Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Chip Savage Golf (also called Chip Savage), its Android app, and chipsavage.com, provided by Mephitideus Interactive ("we", "us", or "our"). Please read them before playing. By using the game, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the game.

1. Eligibility

The game is intended for people aged 13 and older. If you are below the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf where required by law. You must also meet applicable platform and Google Play Games requirements.

2. Permission to Play

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play the game for non-commercial entertainment, subject to these terms. We and our licensors retain rights in the game, artwork, music, characters, software, and branding. Third-party components remain subject to their respective licenses.

3. Fair Use and Conduct

You must not use the game unlawfully, interfere with its services or other players, submit fraudulent leaderboard results, impersonate someone, or use player names that infringe rights or contain unlawful, abusive, or discriminatory content. Do not distribute unauthorized copies, sell access, or bypass security measures. These restrictions do not limit activities expressly permitted by applicable law or a relevant third-party license.

4. Platform Services

Google Play and, where enabled, Google Play Games are operated by Google and are subject to Google's terms and policies. You are responsible for securing your platform account. Play Games sign-in, leaderboard visibility, achievements, and data availability depend on Google, your settings, and the installed build. We do not guarantee that these features are available on every platform.

5. Scores, Progress, and Virtual Content

Scores, achievements, cosmetic items, and other game content have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money. Local progress may be lost when app or browser storage is cleared, when a device is changed, or following technical failures. We do not guarantee recovery or cross-device synchronization of local saves.

The current release does not offer paid transactions. If paid features are introduced, their prices and applicable purchase conditions will be presented before purchase, and these terms and the privacy policy will be reviewed. Nothing here limits statutory refund rights or rights under applicable store policies.

6. Updates and Availability

We may update gameplay, correct errors, change features, or discontinue services. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or permanent availability of any particular feature. Where required by law, we will provide notice and applicable remedies. We may restrict access to online features for material violations of these terms, subject to applicable law.

7. Privacy

8. Disclaimers and Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the game is provided "as is" and "as available", without additional warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the game.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, and other non-waivable protections remain unaffected.

9. Ending Use and Disputes

You may stop using the game at any time and remove it from your device. To raise a concern or dispute, contact us at service@skunked.io. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to seek remedies in a court or before a consumer authority where available under applicable law.

10. Changes to These Terms

Revised terms will be posted here with an updated effective date. We will provide additional notice or obtain agreement where required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
